As we are committed to protect users' privacy, Tribe will not share any personally identifiable information (PII) data to Google Analytics. This means we no longer send the user's username or name to Google Analytics as the UserID or custom dimension. Tribe would continue sending user's Tribe ID and will replace it with external Id if you provide that attribute to Tribe using Single Sign-On. For companies that were using Single Sign-On this does not make any difference to their analytics except that we’re not sending username as a custom dimension anymore.

Because laws across countries and territories vary, and because Google Analytics can be used in many ways, you can enable an option on our Google Analytics App that would pass the user's name to Google Analytics. Make sure to have that properly explained in your privacy policy and consult an attorney if you are in doubt whether you should enable that option.
