Tribe widgets let you embed different sections of Tribe right inside your product or website. You can embed them as a WebView in phone apps, or iframe on web. You can also initiate them using Tribe JavaScript SDK.

Tribe widget urls start with /embed/ and gets a query string called components which will let you pick which sections of the widget you want to display. If components is not passed as query string, the widget will display all sections.

At this time, following widgets are available:

1. Topic Widget

The topic widget displays different components of a topic including breadcrumb, header, suggestions, feed, input form, and sidebar.

Here is an example of the topic widget which includes all the components:

https://community.tribe.so/embed/topic/5babe5eb3d9228aa7c423c66?components=breadcrumb,sidebar,header,suggestions,feed,input202

If you don't need all the components, you can easily remove them from `componets=`. For instance, the following url only includes input and the feed:

https://community.tribe.so/embed/topic/5babe5eb3d9228aa7c423c66?components=input,feed116

2. Group Widget

The group widget displays different components of a group including header, banner image, breadcrumb, input form, feed, and member list.

Here is a sample url of this widget:

https://community.tribe.so/embed/group/community-owners-hub?components=breadcrumb,feed,members,topics,input,banner,header60

You can remove extra components, for instance, this feed only has the header, input, and feed:

https://community.tribe.so/embed/group/community-owners-hub?components=feed,input,banner,header39

3. User Widget

The user widget displays different components of a user profile including header, menu, and main section.

I don't get the examples. They just show a webpage but I don't see a widget. A widget in my experience looks like those chat windows that you find on many homepages nowadays that can be neatly minimized. How can I integrate a widget in my online course in the lower right corner e.g. that also doesn't mess up my mobile page?

Siavash Mahmoudian thanks for the post but I also don't understand how to use the widgets. I would like to be able to use the Tribe community replies/comments as comments on my wordpress site's posts.

Here's what it sounds like I should be able to do with a widget, but I can't figure out how to:

1. Created a short blog post on my wordpress site at https://how.cr/this-interview-with-the-president-of-costa-rica-blew-my-mind/
2. Create a summary post or article in my Tribe community: https://tribe.how.cr/post/5de9ce0bfc3a0855b16f0e50
3. Display comments that are left on the Tribe community post (and allow readers to add their own new comments without leaving the post) below the wordpress post.

Does that make sense? How would I do that?

how can I just show the responses to a post. The example above is a 404 and using combinations of the format in the link doesn't seem to change anything on my own site
