Is there any way to do SSO with JWT in Tribe?

In Tribe you can ask and answer questions and share your experience with others!

JWT is one of the simplest implementations of SSO (Single Sign-On) in Tribe. To use this method, first, you need to install the "JWT SSO" app from the app store:

Admin Panel> Apps> Install JWT SSO.

When you have the app installed, you need to fill out 4 sections: Authorization URL, Logout URL, Sign Up Url, Account Settings Url.

A more detailed tutorial is provided here24

Is there any way to do SSO with JWT in Tribe?

1. Authorization URL is explained on the same page. Follow the steps provided to find the Authorization URL.

2. Logout URL is the URL of the page, where your users are being redirected after they log out of Tribe. This will ensure after a user logs out of Tribe, they are being logged out of your platform as well. Most identity/user management systems already provide a logout URL. If your custom app is acting as the identity management system, you need to implement a URL in your product which logs out the user and put that URL as "Logout URL". If you leave this field empty, the user will not be redirected to the last page they've visited in Tribe.

3. Account Settings Url is the URL of your product where your users can change their names or email address. We will show a link to this URL wherever the user can update their name or email in Tribe. When SSO is enabled users will not be able to update this information from Tribe.

4. Sign Up Url is the URL of the page where new users can sign-up on your product. When a user clicks on the Signup button in Tribe, they will be redirected to this URL.

Once you have filled out all 4 sections (Only Authorization URL is required), click on the "Enable" and then "Update" the changes.

Please note that if you are using the "JWT SSO" app, you do not need to install the "JWT Authorization" app.
