What is the file type and file size supported for upload in posts?

Currently Tribe allows you to upload the following types of images, videos, and:

Images 

• jpeg
• png
• gif

Audio & Video

• Mpeg
• webm
• mp4
• mov
• x-msvideo
• x-ms-wmv
• ogg

Others

• PDF
• msword
• vnd.openxmlformats

Other formats such as .zip are not allowed due to security concerns by default. You can add extensions by going to Admin Panel> Settings> Security. 

To add an extension, you need to add the file type with a . before it. For example, to add pdf, you need to add it this way:

.pdf

and then add 

application/pdf   as well. 

The maximum supported file size is 500MB.
