Hi there,

If by "localized groups" you are referring to the groups for different languages, you can promote the groups in different ways:

  1. Enable "Groups You Might Like" from Admin Panel> Setting> Feed.
  2. You can promote it in the announcement section12. You can also add an action button to the announcement that takes users to the Groups page.
  3. You can create a post and introduce your groups in that post. You can then pin the post to the top of the homepage to give it more visibility.
  4. You can add the description section to each group and ask members to click on the "join group" button in order to be able to see the posts from the group right on their homepage as well. (How we generate homepage based on groups you join11).

You as an admin decide what should be the "default" sorting for the homepage of your community.

You can set it up from Admin Panel> Settings> Feed> Default Feed Sorting> change it to Recent Post> Save.

After that, users still will have the option to use the "recent activity" filter if needed:

Can members set the main feed default display setting to "recent post" instead of "recent activity"?

Hello @Lucía Pizarro8

The home feed for each user will be generated based on:
1.The posts which do not belong to any specific group> everyone can see these posts in the home feed.
2.The posts which belong to a certain group and the user is part of that group already.

How do I know if a member's post is visible inside a group AND on the main feed?

Hi @Steve Allen15 . If you want to promote a group as "Groups You might like", you can enable it from the Admin panel> Settings> Feed> "Group You Might Like Box"

However, if this group is a general group that you want everyone to be in that group by default, you can add the group as a default group23. This way, all the community user will see this group on the left-side navigation on their homepage view, under "My Groups" and they can easily access it anytime.

To link this group to a topic, please make sure all the posts you share in that group are also tagged with the "Community Tutorials" topic as well.
