Hi Mary. You can use Tribe premium trial to test the premium features. If you want to continue using the premium features, you need to upgrade your account before the end of trial. Otherwise, your community will be downgraded to free plan.

Hi @Zach Johanson12

You can actually use Tribe's API and widget to build your own community experience in case you don't want to use our out-of-the-box website.

The FB Messenger is only available on the Premium plan. You can place adsense using the HTML box provided in the theme section.

You are the ultimate owner of your community so you can sell it like any other property :)

Extra instance is the option which is available only for our premium and enterprise customers. Regarding the cost, please check out our pricing page84

What is "Extra Instance"?

Extra instance mean to add parallel communities to your main community. All your parallel communities share the same user base. Meaning, people do not need to sign-up separately for each parallel community. Once they are registered in one, they are registered in all other parallel communities too. The admin panel for all these parallel communities will be unified as well.

One common use case is to build multiple versions of the community based on language. For example, you might want your community to be available in both German and English. This way, we will create a parallel community for the German language, something like https://YourCommunityDomain.com64/de.

It means you have two communities, one in English (which is the primary one) and the other in German. But, both are under the same name and domain, however, each portal can have it's own logo and theme.

Multilingual community is one example of using extra instances; it can also be used for other use cases depending on your needs.

In Tribe communities, we are using Server Side Rendering (SSR) the first time a page is loaded, which is the fastest and the most compatible solution for both user experience and SEO.

After that, when the user browses to other pages, the app acts as a Single Page App (SPA) meaning everything is loaded in front-end using our API, which gives the fastest experience to the user. Also, you can pull content from the community website to your content using Widgets and APIs, or the community can push changes to your platform using webhooks.

If you want to push content from the main website to the community, you can do it using our API. Also, some widgets, like the topic feed widgets, can auto-generate the first time they are loaded.

Now, let’s say I you want to load suggested products on community website/user feed in Tribe. To do this, you can build an app and use the App Cards. Tribe team will fully implement this for the enterprise or premium customers. However, there are two types of cards:

One is iframe cards, where we show a page on your platform inside the feed using the iframe. And the other one is Canvas Cards, where we send a request to their endpoint and they will return a JSON. The JSON will define how the card will look inside our platform. Every time a user does an action inside the card, we send another request to the endpoint with the action and... (More)
