πŸ“’ Registration Only With Invitation: Released on April 5nd, 2019

You can change the registration policy of your community from "public" to "invitation". It means, the designated people will receive an invitation email from your community, with a link that gives them access to your community portal.Β

If the community access is public, anyone can join the community, with or without invitation. But, if you change the community access from "public" to "private" and the invitation registration is enabled, therefore, only your designated users with an invitation email are able to join and use your community.Β

A question regarding public access - is it possible to include a verification step as part of the process (eg to ensure that users meet particular criteria)?

Hi Ian. Regarding your question about public communities, we're adding a new registration policy called "Approval Only". This policy will let everyone to register, but will not let them in until a moderator or admin approves them. We're aiming to release this in the beginning of May.

Next, we'll let admins define some questions which will be shown on the sign up page, so it will help admins and moderators to determine if they meet a criteria or not.

What are your thoughts?
