Hi there. You can add a photo gallery to the "Post" content type. There is no specific place in a group to share files/images. It should be shared through a post.
However, if you want your group members to quickly find all the posts with files/images attached to it, you can add the topic "Shared File" or call it anything else, then add this topic as a highlighted topic19 to the group for easy access.
